The Shogun is the title of the chief military officer of Aika. The office has evolved over time, switching between hereditary and appointed and ruling the country and being purely symbolic. At present, the Shogun is a hereditary office held by the Takeya Clan and holds the senior position in the government, while the Emperor of Aika is more of a symbolic office.
