Daimyo are the greatest of the feudal lords of Aika, ruling significant territories within the isles and wielding great power and prestige. The head of each of the great Clans of Aika holds the title of daimyo. One of the many titles of the Emperor of Aika is "Daimyo of Daimyo." The holdings of a daimyo are referred to as "domains" and are the main constituent political entities that make up the Empire of Aika.
