Azi Nay Zo, a tower city of the Long Men

A tower city is an architectural form of city construction believed to be indigenous to the Tall Men though occasionally utilized by other races as well. A tower city is exemplified by the emphasis on building upwards instead of outwards, creating gargantuan spires of urban sprawl. Tower cities are exceptionally resource and labor intensive to construct, requiring the use of Magic to stably create them so that they do not collapse soon after their construction.

Most extant tower cities were constructed by the Long Men, with the notable exception of Gal-Anzarak, which was constructed by Duros I and his sorcerers. There have been many ruined tower cities discovered around the world, which some scholars speculate are indicative of widespread Long Men dominance in ancient times, though this is unconfirmed and heavily disputed due to differences in architectural stylings and materials used.
