Sir Gered Goodfellow was a knight of House Goodfellow and the son of Lord Gerion Goodfellow and Princess Bellia Pelegon. A knight of middling renown and overinflated ego, Sir Gered attempted to claim the Golden Falcon Throne during the Imperial Election of V 90, citing his relation to Bellia Pelegon, which made him one of the two living grandchildren of Pelegon I (the other being Lord Jerichon Mannos). After his half-brother decried his attempt as folly, his claim was flatly rejected and he returned to Son's Rest in disgrace.
