House Goodfellow of Son's Rest is a noble house sworn to House Pelegon. They are lords of the castle of Son's Rest. House Goodfellow is one of the most powerful houses of the Imperial Domain.
The house was founded by Gerella Goodfellow, a bastard of House Restwell and close companion of Pelegon I. This technically makes House Goodfellow a bastard branch of House Restwell, though they have long since surpassed the Restwells in status, wealth, and prestige.
Since the Conquest, the Goodfellows have been close allies and principal bannermen of the Shahanshah. Lady Gerella Goodfellow, the founder of the House, was a close friend and confidant of Pelegon I (and according to some accounts, his lover) and was the Empire's first Grand Vizier.
Regardless of if one believes the rumors regarding Lady Gerella, House Goodfellow has married with the House Imperial multiple times over the course of Imperial history, and its members are known to often possess the Purple Eyes of their liege lords and have been known to sport the fiery orange of the House Imperial as well.
