Orange fever is a disease which has struck Yekare several times over recorded history. Orange fever starts as feeling uncomfortably warm, but within a day will progress to an intense burning fever. The whites of the eyes turn orange as the disease ravages the body, hence the name. Death or recovery will follow within a week. Four of every ten people afflicted with orange fever die of it.
