Sir Tritt The Golden Bull

Lord of Tritt's Keep

Sir Tritt, often called the Golden Bull, was the founder of House Tritt. Tritt was of low birth, but no stranger to the royal court of Deadhill. His father was the royal fool of the Orthed monarch while his mother was a cook in the citadel's kitchens. While his father was a man of short stature, Tritt was tall, strong, and powerful. He quickly became a famous warrior and knight, and an accomplished adventurer, whose feats are still told (and often exaggerated) in tales across the Motherlands. It was said that the Golden Bull fathered a thousand bastards in his travels across the Motherlands, and even today commoners blessed with height and strength are (half-jokingly) said to have some of the "bull's golden blood" in their veins.

After years of adventures, Sir Tritt was granted a hill and some lands near Deadhill as a reward for his and his family's leal service to the crown. On this hill he raised Tritt Keep and since then House Tritt has been one of House Orthed's closest vassals and allies.

He was succeeded by his son Trevor, who took "Tritt" as his family name and his father's personal arms as the sigil of his house.
