Tashal is the largest city in the Kingdom of Kaldor [J5+] and second largest on Hârn. As the nexus of four major trade routes (the Salt Route [G7+], Fur Road [H2-H3, I2-I4, J4-J5], Silver Way [K4-K5, L4-L5], and Genin Trail [K7+]), Tashal has become Hârn’s most active trading center. Caravans converge on the city along these arteries for the Tashal Summer Fair. Tashal is not a freetown, but a royal city governed by the monarch, King Miginath Elendsa. Many of the kingdom’s nobility maintain townhouses in the city, which is also home to many wealthy guildsmen. Members of the town’s powerful Thieves’ Guild are among the shadowy figures than haunt the labyrinthine network of tunnels and sewers that run beneath the city.
