Ibanvaal is the second-most populous kingdom of Ivinia. Ruled by King Osidar Dagen of Dagenborg [J7], it may be the most autocratic kingdom in the region and is certainly the most aggressive. King Osidar tolerates no opposition from tributary clans and rules his domain with an iron hand, maintaining power largely through ruthless politics and the strength of his fortifications. Clan Dagen maintains a firm hold on revenues gleaned from the kingdom, particularly the royal towns of Harling [J6] and Pelby. Ibanvaal enjoys some of the region’s largest tax revenues through its control of several large settlements at the head of Kolofa Gulf [K7+], one of Ivinia’s busiest waterways. Ibanvaal is presently preparing for the next phase of a war with the Kingdom of Menglana (Norway).
