The timeline shows the earliest recorded events up to the present for the region of Hârn.

  • BT 10,000: Sindarin (Elves) reach Hârn​.
  • BT 7,000: Khuzdul (Dwarves) appear on Hârn; Azadmere is established around BT 6,900​.
  • BT 1,300: Jarin humans arrive on Hârn, establishing early settlements in alliance with the Elder Races​​.
  • BT 900: The Atani Wars begin as invaders from Lythia raid Hârn; early Jarin and Elder Races resist the incursion​​.

    The enigmatic Earthmasters abruptly depart Hârn leaving behind numerous strange structures and artifacts. It is believed their civilization was destroyed by unknown forces.

The Lost Years -15,000 — -10,000

The period between the deåarture of the Ancients and the arrival of the Unknown is generally referred to as the "Lost Years". No contemporary records or artifacts survive from the period. Hârn may have been totally uninhabited, although some claim it was "an age of dragons, trolls, and fell beasts that defy description and harm the eye". A few talk of great floods and earthquakes that separated the Hârnic Isles from the continent of Unknown.
