Ilvin is the tenth month of the year according to Tuzyn Reckoning (TR). It equals December and is the first month of winter season. It is named after Ilvir, the God of the Ivashu and Master of Araka-Kalai. Most work occurs indoors. Women focus on weaving, spinning, and mending clothes, while men repair tools and weapons. Villagers also hunt, with community hunts to procure food and furs. Winter spirits are thought to aid those who work by candlelight, and household charms are refreshed for protection.
