Athul is a heavily forested region bordered by the Farin River and the Kingdom of Evael on the east, the Felsha Mountains on the northeast, Lake Benath on the north, the Thardic Republic on the west, the Kingdom of Kanday on the southwest, and the Gulf of Chakro on the south. Tharda claims the territory but does not do much to press that claim, as it is inhabited by the fierce Tulwyn tribes. The Salt Route runs through Athul, and Tharda does maintain a keep at Taztos about halfway between Trobridge Inn and Coranan.
