Thornhedge

Long ago, lost to the mists of time, Thornhedge was a thriving nation.  Then, on the 16th birthday of Princess Talia, a strange sleeping sickness struck, leaving the whole castle locked in an endless enchanted sleep.

The sickness began to spread, and the populace fled.  Adventurers were dispatched to halt the spread of the disease.

Though the cost was dear, the great wizard Albert and his companion,  the druid Kingfisher raised a great wall of briars to bind the sleeping sickness.

In time, only the bards remembered the truth of it.

More recently, the rangers who patrol the wall have noted a blight that is slowly killing the hedge.  Fears have spread that the sickness could again begin to flourish.
