Captain Han Duo is a brash sailor. Originally a treasure hunter and archaeologist, Duo was left for dead on an archaeological dig by his best friend and colleague, Belloq. Duo eventually found his way to a card game, where he won (by cheating) the ownership of a ship, the Centennial Hawk. Befriending a priest of Valkur who came with him on his maiden voyage, Daniel Stormhelm, Duo and Stormhelm starting taking jobs shipping items from Waterdeep up and down the Sword Coast. On one particular job, a group of Hawthorne Adventurers hired Duo to deliver several statues of famous Hawthorne Adventurers to the town of Hawthorne. On this mission, the Hawk was forced to shore, and Duo, Stormhelm, and the Hawthorne Adventurers discovered a lost temple to Valkur. Duo and Stormhelm are currently leading Hawthorne Adventurers on quests to unlock the secrets of the temple.
