Members of the Yamato family are mainly focused in the town of Mintaro where the shrine they were raised at is located. It is up to each individual member to determine when they are ready to challenge the outside world. When they are they set out to find their own path in the world with the knowledge that one day they will return home. They have strong ties to the Daimyo and Shrine priestess as they took care of them as they matured. All types of skills are found within the clan and the members normally fall someplace on the Neutral alignment spectrum.

Beliefs
- If you are prepared to kill, you should be prepared to be killed yourself.
- Family above all else.
- Honor those who have come before you and teach those that come after of their deeds.
Member Traits
The Yamato came from next to nothing and have grown into something much bigger. Many have come to Lerwick for a chance to make themselves into something great. However, Lerwick is a foreign place, very different from Mintaro sometimes leaving them feeling as outsiders. The family members display loyalty, honor, and a willingness to help their neighbors and friends.
Hierarchy
The Yamato all owe their loyalty to the shrine priestess that raised them, the daimyo that helped provide for and train many of them, and finally the emperor that rules over Wa. The orphans themselves do not have a strict hierarchy however many of them look up to the more experienced members of the family.
