Prior to 1494 DR, Tthere have been a couple of diplomatic missions from Lerwick to Jadehold, and particularly the last one has left Southwood’s inhabitants quite terrified of Lerwick’s might. There is much mistrust and uncertainty if the adventurers are going to leave them be or wipe them out overnight at their whim or because of some diplomatic incident. Occasionally though, members of the guild do travel to Jadehold to pay a visit to the Warden’s library for their own reasons. These visitors are generally treated well despite the fear, provided that they listen to the kobolds’ warnings and behave themselves adequately. A wasteland bereft of all life, its denizens evacuated.
