The Mafisto family is less a nuclear family, and more an extended cult. Led by the married succubus and Incubus Orianna and Mordekai Mafisto, the two command the efforts of Zariel's cult within the Moonsea. While other agents may operate within the Moonsea for various other Archdevils, Zariel's cult under the Mafistos is organized, and almost accepted in an underhanded way. Their efforts currently are focused on combatting the continued advances of the Heir of Orcus within the region, while also circumventing celestial interference in their matters and organization. Their enemies include the Knights of Holy Judgement, the Cult of Orcus, and the celestial planes, among the various mortal factions that oppose devilish influence.
