Shield of Miltiades

The artifact of Phlan. Once wielded by Miltiades, the Undead Paladin of Tyr, it weathered countless quests and adventures, from stealing Phlan from Bane’s demiplane, to finding the stolen Warhammer of Tyr. The Shield of Miltiades is an icon of Phlan, a testament that no matter what wrongs may happen, Good exists to rise even from death to defend against it. The shield is a large kite shield. The Symbol of Tyr can be seen embossed in gold on its face, and the shield’s mirror silver surface bears no marks or tarnishes and gleams with holy light.

While wielding this shield you have a +1 bonus to AC.

This shield has 3 charges and regains all expended charges at dawn. While wielding this shield, as a reaction when you succeed a saving throw against a spell, or a spell attack misses you, you can spend one charge and choose another creature (including the spellcaster) you can see within 30 feet of you. If the spell is a spell of 5th level or lower, it targets the chosen creature instead of you. If the spell forces a saving throw, the chosen creature makes its own save. If the spell was an attack, the attack roll is rerolled against the chosen creature.
