Richard Coates is the new english teacher at Saint John’s High School, having moved last summer to Innsmouth from Exham Priory, a small town near Nottingham, where he previously taught. mr. Coates is an expert in and passionate about the literature and folklore of New England, and had been looking for a teaching position in the region for years. He immediately knit himself into the social fabric of Innsmouth and quickly became one of the teachers most beloved by the students.
