Gnomes have moved to an island near the cliffs. They are available for trading and have set up ropes to go from the cliffs to the islands. Will be ready in 1-2 weeks.Part of the base is on the cliffs. There is a path from the cliffs but it takes about .5-1 full day to walk up the cliffs.
-The island has extremely deep water near it, and is good for a giant ship to dock there. There is a prime fishing spot on the north side of the island. Eastern side has clams and pearls.
-Named the Briny Pinacle Island
East of This area of the cliffs has these magical translucent snake wraith things, and they appear to be a source of mana stones. They did not attack us duringthe night.
We WERE attacked by these supremely evil looking chimera naked rat monsters. They are resistant to physical damage.
This hex has a woodland. On the northern side of the hex, we can make out some old campfires from a few days ago. 5-6 of them. South of us is an island with a giant purple crab. During the night, we see lanterns floating in the sky. They are coming from the East.
Continuing northeast, there is a road going north to south from here. The lanterns were likely coming from the south.Even further northeast, we see a giant purple blue beam twirling to the sky. Almost like a propane torch. There is a hexagon pattern with white translucent magic color. Even further from that, we can see a giant tower of some kind. In the northeast of this hex, we also heard howling and saw bipedal clawed footprints.
South of there, we found the walrus village! As we were trying to speak to them, an elf and a goblin come out. She’s been here around 4000 years. The goblin said he is here to trade. The elf did not know about the necromantic problems. Tuskaar is the walrus people name, and this group is the Kaluac. They haven’t lost anyone to the drakes. There is another tribe to the west, and another to the east. The western group does not have the sea turtle to help them. They are called the Unupe. They are to the west, if you follow a river that leads tothe highlands, and they are a two to three day journey west from there. They also have problems with a Tauren tribe (“Ironeyes”). They are in greater conflict with the Blue Dragonflight. They have some sort of operation in the area of the tower. These are probably the same people group as the blue centaur people. She called Dragonblight the place that dragons come to die (ala MHW). These guys are uninterested in larger conflicts, but they are willing to trade. She tells the story of a Lair Mammoth named Tukeaoth, and thats where the giant tasks are coming from. The Night Elf is here after losing the rest of her party 4000 years ago. The goblin is here after a ship wreck to the east. It has valuable material and lost exotic animals. Crashed 5-6 years. They said we can visit and camp as often as we’d like as long as we don’t bring threats. Very few people trade in gold. Elf’s name is Skyhaven.
She recommends avoiding northeast to the light beam. If you go further east, there is a bridge that is collapsed. Thats the path of the titans, and east of that is the Emerald Dragonshine, a lush forest where the climate is tropical. East of that is a place with human bandits and will loot anything they can get their hands on. Even further east, there is a Horde outpost clearing out a forest. If you go north of this village and follow the road for a while, there is a crater in the grun dwhere the Ruby Dragon tribe lives (and where the ruby drakes go to die).
She guesses that the two drakes in our basement are a female and a child.
East of this village, there is a giant turtle (smaller than the one near the inn). On its back, there is part of a ship hull - likely serving as a boat for the walrus folk.
