Session 23: Deliveyring Goods to the Tauren

We traveled to the Minotaur (Tauren) city to deliver 1/10 crates that we received from the Lady Sylvanus Windrunner. Once we arrived the townsfolks told us that the Chieftain was out on a "Coming of age" Trial for the Taurens. They told us that if we'd like we can go to the trial or wait until they return but will take several days before they return. So, we decided to travel there.

Once we traveled, we found some ore at V27 that I took a piece to identify. We continued to travel to where the trial was being held, which we found a large siege machine and also a Goblin from the Horde that were fighting against these clockwork creatures. They were trying to fight them to enter one of the vaults to gain one of the relics, we helped them fight the clockworks and they explained the situation.

Clockwork Revengers are defending a vault that the Titans created. They are made to protect the vault, and they come out every 4 days. The vault is holding a Titan relic that the Scourge, Horde, and Alliance. As we started to head back we saw that at W24 there is another Titan tower there that was also being attacked

Speaking with the Chieftain they sent people to our Inn to collect the items we have remaining. As we continued to speak, she also mentioned that

• they are in debt to the Blue Dragonflight and repay them by delivering magical items to them.
• Willing to give us Ice frost village once she collects relicts of their people from the city. This will allow us to expand about 3 hexes around X25 and Y26
• Mentioned that the Nerubian Spiderling will initiate a counter attack if they feel like their home is under attack
• They gave us a cape to fight against the drake which is a consumable that will grant the user kind of temporary HP (69) against cold damage. 

Tempest Revenant

May 24

The Tauren give us detailed, complicated instructions to the proving grounds for the coming of age cerfemony.

They mentioned that the Nerubians don’t usually venture north into these mountains. 

We get lost and are attacked by nerubians. We precariously create climbing belays up a waterfall. We notice 88 ore up here. We notice a pond with frost elementals. We continue to the lake and discover enormous buildings, built for Titans (like the dungeon). We experience several Tempest Ravenents. There are karge triangyular paths. We hear huge wheels coming down the paths. Its a huge house with a catapult and flaming rocks. We determine it’s probably people from this land. There are enormous trees here, and I take some leaves to study. We notice a large marble tower that seems to have been overtaken by Horde goblins. They are fighting marble clockwork robots. I heal them, they only speak goblin, and they throw me 20 gold. They are from the Horde. They say the robots are guardians of the Vault. There is a Titan treasure inside, apparently. Horde, Alliance, and Scourge are trying to get the item inside. All 3 factions are fighting each other, and evert 4 days, the robots emerge from the walls to repel them. They sat that the siege engine we saw was probably from the clockwork Titan guardians. 

Overnight, we see some Tauren sneaking away from the fighting. There’s an enormous fight happening around the tower between the Alliance, the Scourge, and the Titans. 

They have some suggestions and information about the Nerubians and blue dragonflight. The Blues aid them against the Nerubians in exchange for debt. They would likely want us to move away, if we asked them for aid. 

They offer us a coat in our fight against the drakes, that is a consumable but resists cold very effectively.
