The Ice Walkers was a druid circle that invoked fear in the general populace of the settled areas, teaching that the changing weather seasons and cold winter storms were an expression both of the beauty of nature, and the cruelty of it. They were generally seen as fanatics and crazy cultists. The circle attracted associates that venerated survivalism, predictability, rationality and a strict hierarchy.
Their symbol was that of a polar bear wearing a ceremonial headdress, illustrating their association with lycanthropy and the fury of nature.
Kinship with the Ascended
During the Briskwater crisis, the Icewalkers and The Ascended came to the mutual agreement that traversing the wilderness of the region was to be avoided at all cost. Holga the Crone and Noka were seen on several occasions walking together.
