Corym was the brother of Asta, and the husband of Elasha. After Asta's affection for Elasha become obvious, he distanced himself from her. Corym took over the mantle of High Lord of Briskwater as per the tradition of the town when his father died.
He were well-known for being a bit of a troublemaker as a young child. As the youngest sibling in a group of seven, he was the only male, and hence the inheritor of the title of his father. A tradition he did not agree with.
It was commonly known that Corym became quite a studied man after his younger years. He oversaw diplomatic relations with surrounding hamlets and outlying fortifications, while maintaining good relations with important influencers in Briskwater.
During the Briskwater tragedy, Corym encountered the party along with his sisters. Not wanting to fight the party, several of whom were friends with his wife, Corym backed out of combat, and was punished by dark magic afflicting his body.
