This almost alien landscape is dotted with craters from a series of meteor strikes that happened as part of the calamity. Some of them have filled with isolated pockets of water that has since frozen over. Others still have broken through the surface to vast underground caverns, giving the entire area a broken feeling. The deeper regions were said to carry a dark curse, and were avoided by most folk travelling between Whitestag and Stormhaven.
