Douglas is a very calm and intelligent individual, not the brute licks normally think of filling the position of Sheriff. He knows the Traditions and laws of the land better than anyone except perhaps the Seneschal and Prince. However, he is still a master of Celerity and is more than capable of acting as the Prince's executioner.
