Session Notes: The Wu

Introduction

I would like to welcome you to Kaldashia. The year is 875 PF, or post fusion and you find yourselves on the shard of Raka. A landmass created some time after the great expansion. The awe inspiring vistas of the shard have put all artists who attempt to describe them to shame.

This shard is known for its prosperity, beauty, and ruthless control. Scattered cities dot the barren wastes, floodplains and fertile fields, most of them under the control of the Consulate.

The landscape is divided down the middle by jagged mountains, rich in resources, and conflict. Their peaks pierce the heavens, and inspire those brave enough to traverse them to glory.

Bountiful resources from these mountain ranges are being gnawed from the land, both the common and the ones unique to the shard. Most of them in the control of The Extractors Union

The notheren side of the mountain range known as the Iron Rise boasts nearly endless fertile fields, their geometric patterns bewildering to the mind, their elegance only superseded by the ingenuity used to extract their contents.

To the north east, bordering the citystate of Oswon, the Moonlit Mountains's snowy landscapes hide their profane secrets from the world.

If you wish to expand your mind instead of lining your pockets, the western floodplains hold many secrets of Kaldashia, in this hostile territory, a glimt of life and truth can be found, pondering in the Vaastukar controlled city of Geier Reach.

The Sapphire blue seas surrounding the shard are treacherous, though this does not hinder pirates and countless creatures to indulge in its bountiful harvests.

All of this pales however, to the crown jewel of Raka which is the capitol of Ghirapur. It's bewildering technology boggles the mind of anyone who as seen it.

A bustling metropolis of wonder and excitement. Blue tubes run across the city like the veins that would keep a mortal creature alive. Pumping the lifeblood of the city out to its denizens.

Bronze domes crown many of the formal buildings, and exquisite craftmanship can be seen all over the cities many districts.
