Stepping in the center of the large engraved circular stone platform makes a satisfying *click* sound and the sound of gears turning starts to emerge from behind the stonework.
The ground gives way and the platform seems to enter free fall... for just a second, then it slowly turns counter clockwise while descending
The mesh of stone, metal, pipes and steam on the walls are disorienting but it does seem to have an end as the air becomes hotter, a dull light emerges at the edges of the platform, and as the speed of the descent slows you see a tunnel in front of you.
A strong and pungent smell of unknown chemicals hits you all, hard and it takes a while to adjust your breathing.
