Hall of the Honourless

The dishonored and their merry pleasure golem move carefully down the hallway of the prison, their instincts guide them down one smoke filled corridor after another, hopeful that each turn of a corner will lead to their salvation.
Suddenly they hear a thump down the hallway, simultaneously Mitzo the dwarf awakens as flickering lightning evacuates his body alongside last night grub.
No Ma Lee's Eyes also come alive as his posessor seems to desire to look through the eyes of a thaumaturge today.

The party pushes on down the corridor, but sounds of humanoids ahead halt their advance.
They decide to lower their pace. Mushiro takes the tailend, as the Rass and Jaw Long sneak on ahead.
After locating a blocked corridor to the left and a burning break room to the right, the "civilians" hide in the break room.
As they start to move forward again, the sound of conflict is heard from behind, as an arrow narrowly misses the treant and ricochet's off the wall.
The scouting intel they got said the partys weapons were to be found ahead, so they decide to face whatever they find ahead.

The only thing worse than being surrounded, is being surrounded and unarmed.
They round the last corner and find two hobgoblins blocking their path, a desperate skirmish ensues.

After trading blows a few times, Rass the swashbuckler manages to land a lethal blow on one of the hobgoblins, he then hands off the fallen foe's weapon off to Jaw Long that finishes off the other.
As this happens the treant charges forward along with No Ma Lee to retrieve the weapons and brace for the ambush.
*swish* With deadly precision, arrows pierce the smoky halls, and connect to their target. Flanked by two shielded gobhoblins, a towering example stands with a deadly shortbow.

As the enemies clash the fight seems to stalemate around the shielded minions of the deadly archer. So Rass decides to make a move for the backline.
What seemed to be a good idea, almost ended up being his demise. A brutal attack of opportunity followed by a point blank arrow to the chest left him hanging on to dear life, only saved by his abnormal biology.
As the fighting continues, the hobgoblins slowly fall one after another, finally armed with their weapons of choice, the dishonored make fatal progress.
The fight seems to be turning sour for the goblins, and as the final one attempts to flee, Mitzo manages to hit a brutal spellstrike, which only leaves a jolting corpse behind.

After the fight, the party gathers up and Shiro shows his usefulness by treating the wounds. As the party recovers the treat companion seems to lose its patience, and starts looking for an exit down the blocked corridor, and succeeds.

Shiro decides the best way to use the dead weight they are carrying along with them is to use them as bait, and convinces the possessed and the golem to head into the newly revealed overgrown rectangular room.

Mitzo however, seems to have a different moral compass, as he manages to change their minds in the last second.

Shiro attempts to save face, by showing he is just as willing to make the sacrifice, therefore, Mushiro charges forward.

Whiplashes followed by a flurry of projectiles pierce through the air, as the eyes of the treant turn bleak and it falls over

Shiro smiles, his gambit a success as the lifeforce of the treant rejoins with him, with the position of the enemies revealed, two assassin vines, and two lesser treants shooting needles, the fight ensues.

The fight starts of well, with one of the assassin vines quickly picked off, but quickly thereafter, Mitzo falls to the persistent damage of the foes as the ceiling collapses around them.

The honorless continue to take a beating, and despite Mitzo being returned to consciousness by the healing roots of Shiro, the fight looks bleak.

But sometimes, even in extraordinary circumstances, the mundane can shine.

No Ma Lee, in a final burst of desperation wails on the foes, and fells the rest, one by one.

Licking the wounds after the battle, the group looks defeated, the smoke stinging in their eyes, and their wounds gaping.

To their surprise, these vines seemed to have a mutation. Weird pods along the stem seem to have some healing properties. Excellent!

Lady fortune seems to shine upon the honorless on this day. They progress forward, unlocking a door to the left of the next corridor.

Their next challenge seems to be one of constitution, having to chose between the billowing smoke and the running waterway located in the room, the group chooses to go for a swim.

To where? Who knows...
