Prelude

It's early October 2026. The War for Anchorage ended three weeks ago.

The Forsaken won. The Pure Alpha, Malik Nanuq, is dead—killed by Unknown in the final battle. The remaining Pure have scattered into the bush or fled south. For the first time in over a century, Forsaken wolves claim Alaska's largest city.

But something is wrong.

The aurora burned yellow on the night of the victory. Wolf-Blooded across the city dreamed of frozen cities and thrones of bone. The spirits are restless in ways no one can explain. And in Mountain View, someone has begun arranging bodies in spirals.

The characters inherit a broken territory, a fractured community, and a ticking clock they don't know is running.

The Protectorate Convenes [NPC]

Unknown has called a gathering of all Forsaken at Unknown. She claims no authority but everyone shows up anyway—she's the Iron Master who knows the territory best, and her father's shadow looms over everything.

Agenda: Who leads? Who claims what? How do we work together?

Claiming Your Ground [Player-Driven]

Player packs can stake claims to unclaimed territories. The process requires: establishing a pack territory marker, introducing themselves to the local spirits, and dealing with whatever problem the previous Pure owners left behind.

Each neighborhood has its own flavor: Mountain View is spiritually volatile, Midtown is politically valuable, Muldoon is working-class and overlooked.

Pure Survivors [Metaplot]

Not all the Pure died or fled. Some went to ground in Anchorage itself—hiding among human populations, licking their wounds, waiting.

Reports filter in: a Pure wolf was spotted in Eagle River. Another near Portage. Are they threats? Potential converts? Sources of information about what the Pure were really doing here?

Wolf-Blooded Nightmares

Wolf-Blooded across the city report identical dreams: a frozen city, a throne of bones, a voice that says "You're late." They wake with spiral-shaped frostbite on their palms.
