SUMMARY:
Marten, Laura is a person of interest from Cologne, Germany. She is a university student attending the University of Cologne studying German language and literature with a double major in English. During her part time job she came across shopping carts with large chunks missing in patterns that resembled bite marks. She notified local law enforcement but nothing ever arose from the investigation.
She later came to the attention of the DNM when she managed to unearth one of our safe houses located in the Ehrenfeld district of Cologne. She seemed to be naturally resilient to attempts to deprogram her including hypnotherapy and neural erasure. There were no other methods available to local agents. When her apartment was investigated agents found thorough and in-depth research on extranormal affairs including folklore, local legends, and even conspiracy theories. It seemed to begin with the incident at the clothing store.
Continued surveillance revealed that she may have some sort of water related abilities. From observation it's been noted that water avoids causing her trouble. Examples include, but are not limited to:
- Rain often stops just before she steps outside,
- Puddles receding slightly so she better avoids stepping in them,
- Water sprayed by passing cars seems to always just miss her.
We have reason to believe she may be a Scion, and based on above observations we believe she might even be a descendant of the
Lorelei. Her pending classification is HS-03 if confirmed.
She has been given an international internship offer under the guise of English studies and is on her way to the DNM headquarters in Ottawa for further examination and possible recruitment. She will be living in the Lennox and Addington House on campus, 5th floor - a designated single-gender floor. She has one roommate.
