The Hive consists of planets within Shirren space that are still linked via a hivemind, unable to think or act as individuals but as a collective. Since the Schism, the only habitable planets remaining under Hive control are Rik'thi, Krar, Ovar and Szaqo. Rerros, Collalla, Cinh and Kriavetir are industrialized planets or planets designated as "Brooding Sites" for the Hive.
While not openly hostile to the Willed Shirren, they nonetheless shun those outside the Hive, usually pretending they don't exist unless forced to for diplomatic purposes.
