Malkor, the son of Addos and Hazix and twin brother of Halekor, is said to preside over the funeral rites of mortals and gods. He makes sure that the body is not arisen again, and that it is deceased. This is accomplished by burning a corpse, which he engulfs in blue flame, signaling that he has aided in decomposition.

Therefore, many who appreciate death and the blue flame worship him.
