She has a real name, but it is forbidden to mention it. Breaking the law is punishible by death.
The Battle Queen took Steel Fortress when she challenged her aging mother to a duel to the death. The Battle Queen forwent using any weapons against her mother, choosing instead to choke the life out of the old woman. She then turned her ire towards the east to try to destroy Aklatan.
Over years of war the Throne Bound King of Aklatan broke her legions with spells and bindings. However, the Battle Queen's ambition was only matched by her cruelity. Which caused the undying lich to respect her, and eventually to love her.
A marriage was had, and the repurcussions will echo through time.
