Humans are the most numerous race on Orrian and multiple nations have a majority human population. Humans come in all manner of shapes, sizes, colors, and temperaments. However they do tend towards exploration and expansion and civilization building. Humans are short-lived relative to other races and use their few years very ambitiously. Their patron spirit is The Map Maker.
Humans are also notable for their compatibility with other races. Humans have made homes all over the planet in every clime with every people. Humans are also genetically compatible to make offspring with most other races. Human Chordan couples will produce Chordan children. A human coupled with another Orrian race however will produce a child that has aspects of both parents. These "half" humans (not to be confused with Halflings) can be found all over, with half-elves and half-orcs being the most common.
