These races from the island chain of Ko'ila share a common ancestry and cultural heritage, despite the fact that they look so different. The Ko'ilans revere the constellation they call Ahi Kalaunu, which they believe signifies the end of the world by fire and lava.
Goblins- The most populous of the goblinoids, the goblins hail from Gobbedlygook, the largest island of Ko'ila. The goblins are small but they are fantastic seamen and wayfarers. Of the goblinoids, the goblins are most likely to be found on other continents.
Bugbears- Bugbears are the largest species of goblinoid and live on the island of Kookus. They live in the lush jungles and spend their days hunting, fishing, and napping.
Hobgoblins- These goblinoids are the most militaristic and organized of the bunch. The hobgoblins lead the Legion, the standing army of Ko'ila and comprise most of its forces. Both within Goblin society and elsewhere, Hobgoblins are the most likely to hold positions of leadership and power.
