The western peaks of the Ridgelands are probably the most unforgiving, unlivable, Godsforsaken climate on the planet. This is where the Goliaths live. Subsisting in small familial tribes, the Goliaths move from place to place in their land in a neverending quest for food, shelter, and the other necessities of life. Outersiders are often confused as to why the goliaths don't leave for more hospitable climes. The Goliaths will tell of their deep spiritual connection to the mountains and valleys of the Ridgelands and the wonders of its night sky. It is only here, that one can observe the nightly lightshow of Auroras in the sky. They see the Aurora as a deep spiritual connection to the land and to their ancestors and would never even consider living elsewhere.
