As extra "gifts" from Barrett's friend Chips, each bedroom for each character who lives at Trollskull Manor came equipped with a small needle made of bone. This set of five bones are enchanted with a sending spell that links the set together. Short messages can be sent from one of the bones. Any creature possessing one of the other four bones will automatically hear the message inside their heads as if telepathically if they are within one mile and on the same plane as the originator of the message. Words must be spoken aloud while phsycially touching the needle to send the message, but it is received telepathically.
If any one of the five bones is destroyed, the entire set ceases to function.
