The Cyrinishad —a rumored religious artifact— is the
holy book of the Church of Cyric.
'The History and Hysteria of the Church of
Cyric - 1356,’ the book is said to have the power to ensnare the mind of
the reader causing them to abandon any other gods or religion and to
accept Cyric as both the god of truth but also the supreme ruler of the
material plane. It is told, in the same work, that firm believers who
have read the book will seek not only to follow Cyric but also to place
him in positions of power as the head of state for any local, regional
or broader government, thereby dethroning any and all other supreme
leaders.
The physical book, if it ever existed at all, seems to have left recorded history around 1390 when it was reportedly torn asunder by dragons who had no interest in accepting Cyric as the leader of their societies.

Currently, the book is rumored to be in the Church of Cyric's headquarters in Waterdeep, being brought out of its vault once every tenday for initiation ceremonies of new church members.
