Current Situation
- Day 4 the Feywild: (1 long rest at Skabatha's house, 1 long rest in Downfall, 1 long rest in the Dollhouse)
- Elyana's worst nightmare seems to be coming true as her patrons reveal themselves to be more than she may have bargained for. The group is immediately on the offensive and defensive as a vicious fight begins.
Session Summary
- It takes everyone a few moments to shake off the dizziness that comes from the sudden planeshifting; Barrett, having been here before, sees that the only real difference is that, besides the stench of the Rasa being much closer, is a misty fog of various colors around the general area in which the group is standing. The layout of the terrain is similar to the Feywild they've just left, besides being barren of all flora and dotted with bottomless, Abyssal-seeming pits.
- With the Robe of Eyes, Z can now see an "echo" of the Feywild, with color and plants. His view of the planes has reversed. Ely's Truesight from Dhann's spell reacts identically.
- Bizarrely, the sounds of Ely and the twin's voices begin to fade out slightly, before sounding as if from a great distance. Even as they watch, the group sees Ely almost waver, like a wave of heat from the ground or the air above a fire.
- High above, what was originally thought to be clouds is actually a massive amount of ghosts and spirits swirling in the grey sky.
- Several multicolored, small tornadoes, hovering about a foot above the ground, dot the landscape and move slowly across the terrain.
- A wall of light bursts forth in front of Ely as she casts the spell to make a barrier between herself and her patrons. In the same moment, the hulking, giant form of the Rasa rounds a boulder from the north, heavy footsteps shaking the ground as it approaches.
- Z whips of the Robe of Eyes, and activates his Chaps of Haste. He runs with blinding speed to Elyana, with the intent to pull her from the boulder she's on, and to safety. As he reaches her, however, his arms pass straight through her, as if she's a mirage. Seeing that he can't help her at this time, he diverts his path to sprint at the Rasa, shouting out to the rest of the group, "Hell, she's not real?!"
- Dhann, still holding Aiden's hand, turns to face the boy and orders, "Whatever happens, you keep me in between you and that thing," with one of the most intense looks on his face Aiden has seen. The boy is clearly scared by what's happening, but registers Dhann's words and will obey him. Dhann then backs up to a rock face and puts Aiden behind him, taking up a defensive position. With his words, Beacon of Hope is cast on the group.
- Barrett activates his eldritch tattoo and runs to join Z, parkouring off of a rock before taking two melee shots at the Rasa. The hits miss, one missing entirely and the second one missing, but not as widely. Din transforms into a dragon, the crystals on her person shining to become scales, fangs, and horns. With her wings buffeting the air, she launches into the sky.
- Ander runs for Ely, even as Ely turns and flees in the other direction. She runs straight through Ander's form, and it's only now that she notices her friends have followed her.
