Aetherborn are a people of gas-like bodies. Though they are just as corporeal as any other race, they are constantly giving off a blueish-grey vapor as their very body is slowly dissolving. Aetherborn in Selvario come into existence from the hole in the fabric of reality found in Karadain. While many aetherborn, due to their short lifespans, remain in Karadain; it's not unheard of for a more adventurous person to explore the world. Most aetherborn don't survive more than 15 years; however, with the continued research of aether in Karadain, technology is slowly appearing to extend aetherborn life to a more reasonable 50 years or so.
