Varithras

 Varithras, an ancient green dragon, rules over a vast swampy forest the monsters and creatures there are deadly, almost as deadly as the green dragon himself, he fights with these huge beasts regularly and has earned many scars and broken horns because of it, giving him the name "The Gnarled Terror". He controls the most land of any of the other dragons but much of it remains wild and untamed, his subjects are battle-tested veterans, warriors and fighters come to show off their scars and tell the great green dragon tales of their battles fought and won. His brood is sent all over the world to earn scars and gather trophies of their own before returning to serve him, and if they never come back at all Varithras considers it no loss on his part. His kingdom is the definition of "might makes right" of "strength above all else" and for some that's exactly how they want it. On top of the gold his people pillage and steal he also hoards trophies; heads, bones, and crowns taken from the weak and defeated.
