Qaatak

 Qaatak is a bronze dragon that rules over the vast ocean, he doesn't make his home on any land or port and instead makes his home beneath the waves. He and his brood collect their tax from the ships that sail across the ocean, he keeps his hoard in multiple treasure chests at the bottom of the ocean, the exact location known only by Qaatak himself. Veteran captains try to have as good a relationship as possible with the Dragonlord of the seas, always ready to pay up whenever he comes around, and sometimes adding extra to ensure favorable winds and clear skies. Qaatak does his best to fend off pirates from those ships that have paid their fair share but if a captain refuses, or tries to avoid the bronze dragon altogether, he may find himself facing off against a more unforgiving foe...pirates!
