Lord Tenris was an old wizard who found the key to immortal life but meddled with necromantic powers and inadvertently cursed himself with an unquenchable desire to drink humanoid blood, the first vampire. He used his powers of necromancy to raise an army of skeletons and used his blood to turn dozens of people into vampires to act as his lieutenants in the coming war. He built up his forces in secret for many years under Searinox's very nose before unleashing the hordes of undead onto the land. He would scour the land and lay siege to the red dragon's keep for years only to be defeated by the help of the other Dragonlords who were scared of what would happen if Tenris were able to defeat Searinox and then raise him as some undead abomination. Tenris was killed and his army wiped out, but some of his vampires escaped and may still roam the lands to this day, his old ruined tower still casts a dark shadow even now...
