Closed the rift in the cave while Elissa spoke to the hunter in the woods. Then we dealt with some business of Isaac's in the forest, and fought the Whomping Willow.

We gather up the crew and head out of town. As we leave, Sennan the hunter comes riding on his goat and hands her a brown leather book. It is a diary from a few years ago, chronicling his discovery of the fey.

We realise we could get back quicker using Word of Recall, and Jozef says he will drive Khohros' cart back to Tosca'lia. We find ourselves in Yalana's attic altar. A giant lightning strike sends us off, and the noise calls the attention of our guards. Everything cleared, we decide that we should pick up the reward

Getting our rewards

Robyn and the Sunset Company Vineyard

Elissa, Sai and Isaac are dropping off Calogero and picking up the reward, and the others go to the Sunset Company vineyard to drop off Robyn. We check the sparring sandpit since thats where we can hear the only sound here. Giovanni is coaching two young knights in their technique. Giovanni gives us a bag of 500 gold, and two bottles of Sunset Sweet, the wine from the vineyard.

Khohros wants to challenge the young ones to a sparring match, Damien, Cecil and Robyn. Damien, the cockiest of the bunch, takes up this challenge with enthusiasm. Khohros absolutely dominates him, and makes him a little bit more humble.

A while into the journey the cart stops and a voice can be heard outside. Driver appears to be speaking to someone at the side of the road. This someone is a bruised, bloodied rabbit person. Fang steps forward, calling her by Kasia.

"Last I heard you were taking on manticores blindfolded up in the Frostlands?"

We patch her up, and invite her to travel with us back into the city. Not long after, the cart stops again. There is a log across the road, and Kasia seems stressed about it. She says she will walk from here. She does not get far however, before an axe strikes her in the shoulder. Vines shoot out of the axe, pinning her to the ground. From the forest, another version of Kasia steps forth and angrily reprimands the injured 'Kasia'. The real Kasia from the forest reveals the one we picked up as a doppelganger. Khohros confirms this as true with Detect Magic. Kasia is very down to murder the doppelganger, but Khohros suggests we instead hand her into the City Guard.

Once we get to the jail we bring the doppelganger (apparently named Rebecka) out, and Kasha presses her to reveal the location of her companions, in a camp outside the city.

Big Bunny Beatdown

As we walk, we chat about Fang & Anjas past history, before being interrupted by a raven swooping down and landing on the road in front of us. It is Mortemer, and Elissa speaks to him. He tags along in Khohros' stables.

Isaac finds us the right trail in the forest, and after a while Sai also finds marks cut into the trunks of trees, confirming that we indeed are on the right path.

The Cord Isaac has Sai identify the black chain they picked up during our last session. Sai identifies it as the Cord- as in the Umbilical Cord. It allows the Mithril Moon to take possession of the wielder's shadow and deliver an attack through them. Can be used as a reaction, 3x per long rest. Isaac seems unimpressed with the thought of relinquishing control.

The camp is a 100ft circle of felled trees. We can hear noises of people working, and see a large hulking figure in patched armor. He has long dark hair, and one arm clad in metal. The source of snoring noises is a kind of large wolf like creature, with curled horns. Mortemer has reported previously that there are a total of 8 creatures in the camp. There is a lookout in a tree on the other side of the camp. The big guy is, according to Fang and Anja, Kendrick the Tosser. He tosses people.

Anja attacks, sprouting vines from the ground in a radius. Khohros summons 2 direwolves. Initiative!
