Dr Tanner Gleeson was a mystery. A brilliant Cleveland surgeon with no life outside of the hospital. Or so everyone thought. He was a heavily-involved, high-ranking member of Mage society, working to make his city a realm of welcome and cooperation for all Awakened. At least, he was until the Seers pushed the pentacle mages out of the eastern states, and the New York Silver Ladder refugees took over the city. He was sent as an envoy of the Knights of Accord to their allies in the west, and it was there where Tanner found a new realm of freedom.
Now Tanner serves as the medic for the people of Flagstaff, AZ, based at the KOA. His position on the facility's council is relatively new, and he has embraced the new lifestyle and new opportunities presented to him. What had been intended as a form of banishment has become a homecoming. He no longer needs to separate or hide his profession, his social life, and his status as a Mage.
