Description
Privately owned wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center in Willowbrook, IL. Works closely with the county Parks & Rec Service and Animal Control Dept. to bring in injured local wildlife, following a standard practice of Rescue>Rehabilitate>Release. If an animal is for whatever reason unable to be released back into the wild, they are handed over to other institutions for use in educational and outreach programs.
Works primarily with wild animals but is equipped to handle domestic patients as well if the need arises.

Name: Tobias Kistler
Grandfatherly veterinarian who founded the refuge nearly 40 years ago. Still works closely with the day to day operations, especially with new volunteers, to make sure they know the ropes.
