Archive was called to Chicago to serve at the Athenaeum in Chicago. Darwin having finishing the set up of his lab met the cabal and toured the temporary sanctum. Not being able to investigate the basement the cabal decided to do the job they were sent to do by the Hierophant. They loaded into Beks jeep and punched in the coordinates given to them only to find that the house was actually in the middle of the Markham B. Walsh Memorial Park and Marina. Traveling to the Marina was easy but finding a unattended boat proved troublesome to Sidony so Beks rented a boat for her to drive to just out of sight of the marina but not into truly deep water.
The cabal found a buoy etched with High Speech runes that translated loosely translated to "Claimed by Kihiro, no trespassing." Mage sight didn't detect any spells offering transportation so Darwin used Transform Life for the cabal to grow gills long enough to follow the chain downward. Sidony caught up after having some trouble with the cross currents. The Chain lead to a smaller two story house laying at the bottom of the lake. Spellwork protected the house from the environment while spirits of viscous predator fish protected against unwanted guests.
The house was enormous on the inside than the outside. To save time a fate spell was cast to find the most important item in the house. Only having a hour the cabal ran past all other rooms to find the ritual room. There they found a Mages wet dream of a buffet of Mysteries. Sidony and Darwin used active mage sight to study several objects while Beks scrutinized the Tooth dagger cracking its mystery open. Sidony and Darwin also attempted to crack open the Timex watch and Tea Cap respectfully but was unable to and left before making matters worse.
