Legal name: Isaac Adam Maclean. Shadow name: Golem.
Isaac was born to a family in Nebraska, two normal, loving parents and three siblings of whom he is currently estranged from. He graduated from MIT with honors in his robotics program and went on to have a lucrative career in the industry as an engineer, working with teams in America and Asia both to build and train others in the future of automation. It was a life of long hours and hard work, often with macho egos clashing on the floor as much as in the office, and those with the money clashing against those who actually knew how to get things done. Nevertheless he developed quite a reputation for quality, diligence, and efficacy which have made him some not-quite-friends in the industry.
His awakening was one of horror, wherein a bio mechanical monstrosity played out a scene of carnage from the likes of slasher gore-fests. Only through the ghosts of it's victims and his co-workers was he able to escape, not intact, but alive at least.
He is only now returning to America, having spent some time in China without an order and struggling he came to find allies in the Free Council, who have brought him back stateside to somewhere that would be 'good for him'.
