The cabal gathered around the candy bar they got from the neighbor kid selling chicalote for his school fundraiser that the Dynaco symbol on it. Even adding in the photo from the internet scrying was deemed to difficult.
The letter from Poseidon was opened by Darwin and Mr. Cooper and with forces a hologram told them that Golem would be part of the Willowbrook Cabal but he was not to be told of the mission to retrieve the mysteries form the sanctum of Kihiro. The cabal knew that Sidoney had been pulled out by the Silver Ladder but they were informed that now archive had been pulled by the Mysterium to research a paticular thin she specialized in.Mr. Cooper freaked out because all this information had already be relayed to Golem.
The Cabal
Kihiro was awakened by a fox spirit in Japan. This fox spirit was drawn to Kihiros destiny in pursuit of understanding his destiny he summoned a surpernal being of a name that is unpronounceable that led to the rest of his life and death. The fox spirit led him to a Seer who had in his possession a soul stone of a up and coming mage named Poseidon that Kihiro stole. Using it as leverage he secured his autonomy in Willowbrook. One there he noticed the difference in the area.
Willowbrook is the current Nexus, a convergence point of reality. It moves as it chooses. And destroys where it was. Other places have been

Anyone not from the town is affected by Quintessence, The sleeping disease that mortals suffer from when they see magic. It's part of the Lie as the abyss is closest here. Under the house in a series of caverns is a verge of the abyss.
The abyss is closest because something scholars call the Contagion thrives in Willowbrook. It weakens the barriers of the universe allowing things to happen that would not otherwise.
Accidentally people have slipped between the barriers of the multiverse. At first he thought they were fetches from a changeling through the hedge. Or new creations like a Promethean or geist. He rescued three he found and was forced to put down others that were “Threats”. The cabal built Deep House as their sanctum.
The Great Work
The Great work was started together to understand but each had their own motives of the outcome so the work stalled and broke the cabal.
Kihiro- The Great Work is part anchor to save Willowbrook
Alabaster- Sees the great work as a means to control the Nexus to bring about the Exarchs at the next move
Tempest- wants to understand it all believing all other supernatural are threads to bind to the great work to hold it together
Celican- Sees the Great Work as an alignment of supernal energies in the world.to bring about Atlantis
What happened to the Great Work
Kihiro- sabotaged The Great work so that only the cabal could work it
Alabaster- Disgruntled by the soft Seers offered material from his home to control dreamer. No clue where he is now.
Tempest- became a banisher/Mad has retreated into his own mind using magic on his own
Celican- Has formed a sleeper cult as a god causing more awakenings dangerously named The Children of Aquarius

Sleepwalker team
After the events the Silver Ladder used it as a reeducation camp on captured enemies of Chicago. All of the resonance of a loving home turned into violence and manipulation starving out the other house spirits and grew hate and mistrust spirits. Anaka was able to stay alive by killing the smaller spirits but just survive. They remained trapped behind the spirt wards unable to grow or explore. When new will workers moved in Anaka hid and watched. Eventually eating to many Paranoia spirits got to them and they decided to strike first with Sidoney ruining her most recent drawing but that had little effect. Being a hearth spirt fire is at their command so they started a blaze in Archives room got more of a reaction. The cabal could see how this spirit had been trapped into a situation beyond their control because it resembled their current situation and brokered for peace.
Golem went shopping and ran across what he discovered to be a Geist at Twice Around Thrift Store.
Golem use Mage Sight to Scrutinize the young lady named Sara Sorrow and confirmed that she was bound to a Geist named The Gorgon who did not like her soul or rather lack of being looked out and began vocally insulting the customer staring at her.
She stormed out the back where golem appeared before her and another ghost named Bloody Mary
Who looked normal in the Shadow until they turned to reveal a bloody hole in her skull.
The interaction wasn't productive but could of gone worse!
