The Adrarians don't often resort to violence, feeling that soil soaked in blood will bear no life from that moment on until cleansed by a high-ranking druid. However, that is not to say they are weak. They are excellent at guerilla warfare, attacking from the treetops of their native forests and vanishing without a trace. Those who prefer an upfront approach are known for their lightning quick strikes, and typically relying on the poisons of their native flora to finish the job.
Still, the Tagantans only saw reliable laborers. With most of their remaining conquests occurring in mountains or open fields, guerilla tactics weren't quite as effective. Still, any who showed a hint of promise were made to join the Conscripted. Young or old, male or female, if you were of fighting age you had no choice.
Some, however, didn't need to be forced. Such was the case of Azan, whose bloodlust was well-known even before the war. Outcast and exiled by his peers, it was the Tagantans who favored his violent weltanschauung. Through each victory did he rise in rank, until he was finally given the prestigious title of Ormester. The High Ormester at the time valued his prowess, but this was shortlived when he was found with a dagger in his back one morning. Suspicion immediately fell on Azan, but rather than be chastised, he was lauded for his bold attempt at a promotion. Though still not enjoying the luxuries and praise of a Tagantan citizen, few dared show disrespect to this foreigner from then on.
